The Global Business Planning Finance team could use the help of a Senior Financial Analyst to help them succeed. This individual will play a crucial role in the company’s efforts to create, implement, and manage business strategies and plans that lead to sustainable, diversified, and brand-enhancing expansion. This individual will perform both routine and ad hoc analyses to generate useful financial insights to aid in decision making that will define the company’s future. The ideal candidate will be motivated, self-directed, and creative, with a solid grasp of Excel and a strong desire to learn and advance in their chosen field.

Qualifications:

• Report on the Company’s profitability on a monthly and quarterly basis, and compare results to the strategic plan, the budget, and the most recent financial forecast.

• Maintain control of your division’s budgeting and reporting processes. Learn to identify the input drivers and verify the reporting’s accuracy to impact strategic planning and decision-making. Take advantage of information to spot game-changing concepts and then advise top executives throughout the world.
• Discuss the costs and benefits of any alternatives with your company partners. Your deliberation and forethought shine through in sticky circumstances where answers are few or difficult to come by.

Skills:

• A Master’s degree plus at least five years of relevant job experience in finance are required in lieu of the minimum requirement of three years of relevant work experience in the field.
• working knowledge of various financial systems, including SQL, MS Access, Essbase, and Cognos, as well as tools for large-scale data mining and reporting (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Acquiring a master’s degree in business administration or a (CPA, CMA, or certificate in qualified accounting).
• Education at the undergraduate or graduate level in the quantitatively-focused fields of finance, accounting, business, economics, or a closely-related field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science).
• Exhibited proficiency in speaking and writing in presentations to high management and a wide range of colleagues.
