Each day, week, month, and year the person in this role must do physical counts of the stocks entrusted to them, as well as request restocking of the inventory as required. Keeps in touch with clients, keeps tabs on the utilization of supplies, and gets rid of old or out-of-date items. The Inventory Coordinator organizes and leads the employees in performing periodic inventory counts, changes numbers and locations, records and communicates inconsistencies to management, and ensures that the inventory is properly maintained. Perpetual and par inventory locations as well as supplies acquired, kept, and given are the responsibility of this role under the guidance of the Inventory Manager. The Inventory Coordinator acts as a role model for the organization’s Service Culture Guidelines and purpose.

Qualifications:

• Makes choices and acts on supply problems, informs management, and/or makes suggestions based on information analysis.
• Be responsible for making weekly and daily modifications to inventory costs as instructed by Supply Chain Management and in accordance with sales policy.
• Assuring that consumers’ expectations are met as closely as possible while shipping components from abroad, utilizing the most cost-effective package dimensions possible.
• The person in this job is in charge of organizing all inventory-related operations for the department to which they have been assigned. Restocking, Picking, Stage-ing, Deliver-ing, Putting Away, Special Orders, and Substitutions are all examples of this. Managing PAR levels, Binning, Cycle Counts, Bill Only, and Inventory Relief may be included in these operations.
• Maintain several reports for things that are stocked, modifications, shipments, items that are in route, and purchase orders, Check the received components against the descriptions and quantities shown on the packing slips; make any necessary modifications; then, label and store the received parts.
• Supervise, train, and supervise those in our care assigned to the warehouse, including assigning responsibilities, settling disagreements, and regulating access to tools, supplies, and/or illicit goods.
• Daily responsibility for supply inventories, including volume, flow, and source monitoring. The Inventory Coordinator will oversee projects and tasks connected to inventory. The IC Coordinator may direct work on behalf of the manager or per management’s instructions.
• By maintaining a tight working relationship with the operations team, you can ensure that the inventory is accurate and comprehensive. You may review the report on the serialized inventory for any inconsistencies, and you should keep a watch on the site transfers to see if there are any problems.
• To help reduce costs, provides cost-effective methods and looks for chances for improvement with the manager’s guidance. The ability to efficiently maintain and calibrate a broad variety of technical equipment is a must-have for this position.
• Be sure to follow the regulations and procedures of your institution, center, and division in order to maintain the warehouse secure.

Skills:

• The ideal applicant will have shown experience working well as an important member of a team and will have strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication abilities, both verbally and in writing.
• Applicants must be able to work well under pressure, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to interact well with individuals at all levels of the business.
• You must be proficient in SAP R/3 or an equivalent system and Microsoft Excel. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and good with logistics.
• Superb personal and business management skills, in accordance with industry best practices. Having the ability to work efficiently, effectively, and productively under tight deadlines and pressure while maintaining quality and precision is a must for every project.
• To be considered for this job, you must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in supply chain management or finance.
