We’re searching for someone to join our team as a Flight Attendant. The ideal applicant will be a team player who is adaptable and prepared to take on extra tasks in order to give excellent service to passengers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Experience in the kitchen and a love for cooking are a bonus.

Qualifications:

• Respond to emergencies by helping passengers and coworkers, following flight deck orders, and according to established emergency protocols when they are given.
• Supervise passengers with special needs, such as those traveling alone, those with eyesight or hearing impairments or other disabilities, the elderly, and those with severe physical limitations, as well as their emergency paperwork.
• Assistance is needed for a broad variety of equipment and safety devices, such as stairwells and oxygen systems; airplane doors; evacuation slides and rafts; fire extinguishers; kitchen equipment; communication equipment; lighting systems; and more.
• Worked with other crew members to ensure that all reporting times, departure times, and minimum turn times were met. Also performed in-flight sales and promotional activities as assigned.
• Maintains dependable and timely attendance in accordance with the rules and procedures of the Company, assists other members of the Customer Service staff as required with the processing of passengers or other activities.
• Performs all required and assigned cabin duties while keeping an eye on guests and making sure they are safe and comfortable.
• Provides food and drinks to passengers, requiring the pushing and pulling of over 250-pound mobile carts. Assists travelers with the storage of carry-on luggage weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Flight attendants must be able to perform a complete range of motions and forces of up to 70 pounds in the event of an emergency on the plane’s flight deck.
• Check that there is enough food, drinks, blankets/bedding, reading material, emergency equipment, and other supplies on board for the journey and number of passengers.
• Food and beverage service includes pushing and dragging trolleys weighing more than 250 pounds. Helps travellers stow 35-pound carry-on bags.

Skills:

• The best training comes from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar program. Training must be done every year. Candidates who don’t have formal training as flight attendants may be considered based on other qualifications, but they must take an initial flight attendant training course before being assigned to a flight. Candidates who have finished FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training in the past year will be given preference.
• A degree from a university is good for those with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Having the capacity to speak more than one language and to adjust to a continuously changing schedule are also advantages.
• Physically fit in order to complete required training programs, including being able to open airplane doors, raise emergency window exits (about 40 lbs. ), help with carry-on baggage stowage, and push food and beverage carts.
• A high school graduation or GED is required, as well as two years of customer service experience. At the time of your initial interview, you must be at least 21 years old and have at least two years of customer service experience in an airline context.
• Take use of overhead bins and galley compartments to store emergency supplies. You must be between 4’11” and 6′ tall without shoes. You must be able to pass a background check that includes FBI fingerprints, a criminal history check, a drug test before to employment, and regular drug testing thereafter.
