Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Practice Manager to oversee daily operations at our clinic. Your duties as Practice Manager will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, supervising the staff, scheduling appointments, and handling financial matters. The ideal candidate will have worked as a clinic manager for at least five years, be friendly and outgoing, and have a can-do mentality.

Qualifications:

  • process analysis and implementation for office activities like payroll processing, cash handling, and invoice handling.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the hospital to facilitate problem-solving and goal-setting with the Clinical and Practice Management Leadership.
  • Stay current on the most effective data collecting, storage, and retrieval software for executive reporting.
  • Maintain a risk-free workplace by adhering to all applicable office safety policies, as well as local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise employees and oversee the routine activities of the clinical, administrative, and billing staff.
  • Care for patients and serve clients in a pleasant setting.
  • The Practice Manager works closely with the chief of staff to manage day-to-day operations at the facility.
  • managing the need for vacation time, assigning work shifts, and keeping an eye on mandatory training.
  • Establishing and carrying out office budgets and managing the purchase of standard office supplies and equipment.

Skills:

  • HR professionals need to understand the importance of keeping accurate records and maintaining employee privacy.
  • Three years of experience in a related field (medicine, veterinary medicine, customer service, etc.), with at least one year of that in a supervisory role, is required (includes hiring, associate development, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate vocally and in writing with patients, physicians, and other departments is required, as is coordination of all departmental activities.
  • Any relevant experience in office administration, preferably two years or more, will also be considered.
  • Capability to confront and manage staff issues, as well as strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
