Job Description

We’re seeking for a dependable doctor to provide emergency and non-emergency medical treatment to the community’s citizens. The Doctor conducts medical exams and evaluations, treats urgent and regular medical concerns, oversees medical treatment for chronic medical illnesses, and participates in organizational efforts to help patients in correctional settings avoid diseases and injuries.

Qualifications:

  • Makes appropriate recommendations for operations that cannot be done at the institution.
  • Excellent bedside manner and the ability to connect with patients on a sympathetic level are important qualities to possess.
  • Through education and counselling, provide preventative and health maintenance treatment, such as yearly physicals, good health practices, and self-care skills.
  • Completes all appropriate paperwork and prepares detailed reports in compliance with payer and/or Department of Labor rules, including evaluation results, treatments delivered the assessment of patient response to therapy and treatment plan, and other pertinent information.
  • Nurse practitioners and physician assistants, as well as Women’s Health Care professionals, must be monitored.
  • In order to assist obese patients achieve their weight loss goals, support a team-developed and -maintained clinical treatment paradigm.
  • Maintain regular contact with the medical director in order to provide medical treatment to customers (CMO).
  • Meets Meaningful Use requirements, which include using certified EHR technology to improve quality, safety, efficiency, and reduce health disparities, as well as to engage patients and families in their health care, improve care coordination, and improve population and public health while maintaining privacy and security.
  • Examine people on a regular basis to assess their health and discover any potential concerns.
  • Utilizing the medical director’s proprietary medical processes, evaluate and manage ED, PE, and male sexually related health conditions.

Skills:

  • Current, valid (in good standing) medical license in the state where services are provided or eligible for licensing in the state where services are given.
  • Board certification in family medicine, occupational or preventive medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or PM&R is highly recommended. It would be ideal if you have prior experience in Occupational Medicine.
  • Certification as a DOT/CDL Medical Examiner is necessary (Company will assist in obtaining if needed)
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required.
  • It is preferred that you have at least two (2) years of experience in outpatient primary care.
