You will be responsible for handling all areas of the payroll department, including tax payments and filings, as Payroll Manager. As an experienced Payroll Manager, your familiarity with the whole payroll cycle, including tax filings and taxes connected to relocations, makes you a strong candidate for this leadership position.

  • A payroll manager’s job is to make sure that all of the company’s payroll-related transactions, such as salaries, benefits, and tax withholdings, are completed on time and accurately.
  • To ensure that wages are accurate, one checks, calculates pay, and corrects errors. Make certain that each and every update to the payroll is handled correctly.
  • Manages and resolves difficulties in the field in a timely manner. Produces reports on a regular basis for the Controller and Human Resources (HR).
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing by working with the payroll supervisor to evaluate payroll reports, look into off-cycle payroll, and ensure fast check processing.
  • Employee collaboration with Human Resources (HR) is an important aspect of this role.
  • Recommends adjustments to the transaction initiator if the accounting treatment isn’t accurate enough.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and pay rate adjustments.
  • Routine and non-recurring general accounting tasks, payroll processing, bonus payouts, and commission or incentive schemes are all responsibilities of the Payroll Manager.
  • Any extra legal or regulatory obligations must be met by organizing information and statements for both internal and external auditors. Making sure you pay your taxes at the right level is also a consideration.
  • By creating internal controls, you can guarantee the effectiveness and quality of all payroll activities and statutory compliance. Upper management and branch offices of the firm are informed of procedures.


  • Maintaining a friendly and cooperative work environment while teaching a warm customer service attitude to all internal staff concerns is a track record.
  • For this role, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related subject is required; the ideal candidate will have five to 10 years of payroll or billing experience.
  • Capacity to successfully coach and manage a department while collaborating with the company’s senior executives and management team.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping standards, laws, and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels The ability to make and implement process adjustments based on analysis.
  • Must demonstrate familiarity with federal accounting processes and standards.
