We’re searching for someone to join our team as a Payroll Clerk. A bi-weekly paycheck for all project employees will be prepared and processed by the selected candidate, who will also assist the administration in maintaining employee files and generating monthly reports for our client. These duties include working closely with both the accounting manager and the division manager to guarantee the efficient and effective tracking of all project employee hours

Qualifications:

  • Compile employee time, payroll, and production information from time sheets and other documents.
  • In addition to the employee identification number, the payroll contains the number of hours worked, time tracking, taxes, insurance, garnishments, and other deductions that must be made.
  • Payroll data is reviewed and processed every two weeks.
  • Check the specific records’ information, such as attendance, hours worked, and pay changes, to make sure it is accurate.
  • Prepares computer input forms, puts information into computer files, or computes and publishes salaries and deductions to payroll records.
  • New hire paperwork and payroll data must be entered into the payroll system.
  • Provide workers with instruction and/or training on the usage of payroll-related systems, such as timesheet input, online access to pay statements, etc.
  • Processes employee expenditure reports, making any necessary reimbursements via payroll, auditing, and, when necessary, speaking with workers.
  • Whenever necessary, provides regular reports on payroll and assists with financial audits involving pay records and associated general ledgers. Produces more reports as necessary for management.
  • Update status changes, benefit deductions, tax withholdings, garnishments, child support orders, and any other involuntary deductions for proper deduction and payment to ensure correct payroll records.

  • This individual has above-average ability in both organization and communication. Making modest decisions in accordance with laws and regulations, keeping records of the company, and interacting effectively with employees and convicts are all examples of fairly tough skills that must be mastered in order to be successful in this position. Working with people in dynamic, ever-changing circumstances is an important need.
  • A minimum of two years of increasing responsibility in the clerical or payroll fields. Working understanding of payroll operations Clerical ability in general.
  • Enter, modify, and format both text and numerical data; insert, remove and manipulate cells and rows; build and save worksheets; as well as a variety of other types of graphs, charts, and spreadsheets.
  • Microsoft Excel and Word skills are a plus.
  • Three years or more of relevant experience with a large organization Success calls on excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (verbal, written and listening)
