Job Description

This person is in charge of overseeing a whole region, including every service provider that is a part of it. They’ll cultivate connections with all suppliers and work tirelessly to minimize costs while simultaneously raising levels of satisfaction for both customers and providers. As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for identifying areas of potential, resolving issues with underperformers, and keeping an eye on current suppliers on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• Make every effort to participate in and lead department or bank-related initiatives. This job function also includes the capacity to lead or participate in Federal Reserve System work groups or initiatives.
• Use your knowledge to ensure the region is run efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with company standards and processes.
• Work and self-directed team management (s). Staff members are chosen, led, and coached. Establishes the team’s general direction. Identifies and executes training initiatives for team members. Makes decisions on remuneration, employment, and firing.
• As aspect of their continuous training, all department workers should get a thorough introduction, skills and safety training, relevant documents and information, frequent assessments and proactive coaching.
• It’s important to make sure that the Federal Reserve’s and the Treasury’s currency operations manuals are followed.
• Inform workers and others on choices that influence teamwork, processes, resources, and other responsibilities. It is necessary to connect and communicate with the local Field Engineer on a daily basis.
• Maintain accurate accounting, reporting, and recordkeeping for the department’s administrative operations in accordance with the company’s internal policies and state and federal requirements.
• Shipment paperwork must be completed on time. Ensure timely and cost-effective recovery and pick-ups. Customers’ shipping costs may be entered into the system.
• Their ideas are backed up. This person shapes everything from product and service design to business strategy. A project manager’s responsibility is to ensure everyone is working toward the same goals.
• Train and supervise the shift’s customer service, data entry, and/or dispatch and warehousing workers. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

Skills:

• The individual has a highly extensive knowledge of job-related software applications, as well as internet and Microsoft Office. Perform operations of multiplication and division utilizing US and/or international currency, weight, volume, and distance measures, in addition to other units of measurement.
• A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of work experience and education, is preferred. Work experience in a related area. 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience Industry experience is preferred.
• +2 years of ops experience (preferably in a cash handling environment). Prefer banking experience. Experience supervising an operations team or a relevant functional area for level II. Level III requires 5 years or more.) Working with others and great leadership experience.
• Ability to lead people has been shown. The capacity of a person to delegate work and/or responsibilities to others in order to maximize both the organization’s and the individual’s efficiency. Customer-oriented. Customers and their needs must always come first; success requires a strong capacity to form and sustain productive relationships.
• In place of one year of experience, you can have a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, or a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Therapy or Health Sciences.
