We are now looking for an Operations Analyst that is communicative, detail-oriented, and passionate to join our team. This function is responsible for carrying out our client’s operational processes and developing ways to improve them. Change management, configuration management, and account management are examples of processes. To support operational needs and transformation projects, the Operations Analyst will create operational models, procedures, process flows, and other documentation.

Qualifications:

• Breakdowns in operational controls, the escalation of serious situations, and old reconciliation inconsistencies.
• Analyze daily collateral needs. Monitor counterparty exposure and transfer collateral to minimize credit risk for clients.
• In your capacity as the team’s business analyst, examine and handle change requests.
• Investigate and resolve trade and account irregularities in a timely way to reduce failures and excessive costs.
• Assist in the automation of operational procedures; provide solutions, collaborate with developers, and test enhancements.
• Collaborate with and participate in cross-departmental teams and with customers in order to carry out regular business and transformation tasks.
• Provide guidance, keep an eye on, and confirm the transfers of positions and money and the settlement of deals.
• Make sure all your IT systems have proper documentation by writing up guidelines and manuals.
• Reconcile trades and other transactions with other resources, such as brokers and custodians.
• Put your business connections to good use by negotiating and speeding up the implementation of solutions and improvements to operational problems with your counterparties.

Skills:

• Provide business recommendations and feedback after auditing numerous company areas and job tasks.
• A fundamental knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC).
• Basic computer knowledge and skills, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Across different business departments, monitor, develop, and publish reports and metrics.
• Create memos and presentations that concisely summarize findings and highlight operational business insights and improvements.
