Qualifications:

• This work requires regular and predictable attendance, as well as the ability to safely perform jobs and follow all safety regulations and procedures.
• Develops and implements a variety of programs, including hearing conservation, chemical inventory/control, hazardous communications/SDS, ergonomics, and others. Audiometric testing is performed, provided, or arranged on an annual basis.
• Safety meetings are organized and facilitated by him. Monthly, prepares, develops, and delivers or organizes safety-related training to a variety of divisions.
• Conduct frequent safety inspections in the workplace to detect potential dangers and apply hazard controls before an accident happens. Determine if any workers are engaging in potentially hazardous safety behaviors and, if so, if they require additional training.
• Assists and advises managers and supervisors in maintaining a safe workplace. Purchase, usage, and installation of safety or hazard control devices are all recommended.
• Assists in the timely completion of all safety-related equipment and system testing, inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Assures that flaws are assessed for ILSM risk and corrected according to policy.
• Investigate incidents and collaborate with management and employees to devise remedies to avoid future disasters. As you put your plan in place, keep an eye on the results.
• Assist with the updating and auditing of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Lockout Procedures, as well as ensuring that personnel are appropriately taught in them.
• Employees, supervisors, managers, and other stakeholders are counselled and provided technical support on matters like as worker’s compensation and fitness for duty determinations.
• It’s critical to help with the project’s application of our safety policy and zero-accident culture (s).

Skills:

• Communication skills are essential.
• Computer software such as document, presentation, spreadsheet, and database systems are required.
• Individual who adheres to high ethical standards in his or her regular job activities. Takes responsibility for his or her actions and decisions, and promotes a work atmosphere that values honesty. When dealing with extremely secret and sensitive subjects, he maintains secrecy.
• Collect data from various sources, then organize, prepare, and offer recommendations to management and operational staff.
