Qualifications:

  • Accurately obtains and enters patient information into database, including the performance of insurance verification and verification of patient demographics.
  • shows proficiency with practice management systems and electronic medical records. trains team members on Patient Access and acts as a resource for them.
  • Manage the doctor’s schedule by filling any openings in accordance with their instructions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Search records for insurance providers, physicians, and complete information requests.

Skills:

  • The regular course of work will necessitate regular use of and familiarity with medical terminology.
  • It will be crucial to have the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with the public, medical personnel, and other staff members.
  • Must be able to perform duties and maintain personal conduct, attitude and appearance that conform to policies and procedures of the facility.
  • With patients and healthcare professionals, it’s essential to be able to communicate simply and briefly.
  • Ability to use a computer and to type with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation is essential.
