The selected individual will help with laboratory support operations. Purification trials, analytics, or development studies may be added to the list of responsibilities if they prove successful. The applicant will be taught how to work safely and effectively in a laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

• The procedure for collecting, weighing, and lighting test samples, as well as reporting on the results Participate in the laboratory’s day-to-day operations.
• High-complexity testing is only done under the guidance of a technologist or management. Follows up on critical, abnormal, and unsatisfactory test results.
• Chromatography column packing, cycle studies, stability studies, material manufacture, and analytical aids are only some of the possible additional duties (HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE).
• Incorporates established competence and workstation operating criteria to assist in training and orientation of new workers, students, and residents This role is in charge of monitoring and maintaining supplies for the tasks assigned to it. It also ensures that the materials and reagents it utilizes are as cost-effective as possible.
• The fundamental responsibilities of the technician include the preparation of buffers, the maintenance of equipment, the general care of the lab, the inventory of common items, and the coordination of these activities with the other technicians.
• Blend and evaluate products for batch changes, root cause investigations, or new product assessments. Current analytical testing techniques for raw, processed and finished materials.
• It is important to make sure that products are delivered on time through the lab work queue, that the Lab Scope is well known, and that all key lab documents and procedures are completely understood.
• Participates in the assessment and presentation of outcomes in both official and informal settings, making suggestions as needed. With minimum supervision, analyzes and provides findings.
• It is important to maintain safety attitudes, procedures, and housekeeping on all work programs to safeguard oneself and others.
• Worked effectively on their own but also in a team environment Performs additional duties as assigned, such as cleaning and repairing lab equipment.

Skills:

• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words, as well as notice similarities and differences between words and numbers. The ability to read and write basic sentences.
• As well as being able to add and subtract two-digit integers, you should also be able to multiply by tens and hundreds and divide by one-hundredth. Use of American weight, volume, and distance measurements in these operations.
• Diploma or GED Preferably 12 semester units in chemistry or bacteriology. One year’s lab tests and analysis
• This role requires previous manufacturing experience or a mix of education and training. For admission, a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from a four-year institution or university is necessary.
• In order to communicate, we use our hands and arms. Standing, walking, or sitting at a desk is the norm for office employees. The employee must regularly lift up to 25 lbs. of weight.
