Job Description

As the Creative Director, it will be your responsibility to establish or maintain brand equity for new and existing goods across our various portfolios through the development of innovative strategies and related creative guidelines. Directing and mentoring a team of design professionals (graphic designers, industrial designers, photographers, illustrators, etc.), working in multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams (strategists, marketers, copywriters, etc.), and frequently collaborating with external consultants, freelancers, and agency partners are all ways in which this position contributes to and drives the overall efforts and strategic vision of the department. When presenting to upper management, the Creative Director will do so with grace and assurance, especially when discussing projects of critical importance. The role of the Creative Director requires them to provide design logic and advocate for their work, all while being receptive to feedback and other points of view. It is crucial to the success of this position that you be able to adequately explain your vision via both verbal and visual means. Candidates for this position should show that they thrive in fast-paced environments, such as brainstorming sessions and seminars.

Qualifications:

  • ensures that the imaginative process and the business partners receive timely and helpful communication.
  • Learn as much as you can about the creative sector and make sure you’re always ahead of the curve.
  • Directs, coaches, and mentors lower-level employees; reviews creative work generated by the team.
  • Upholds, conveys, and builds upon the visual identity of the product’s brand. Maintains and shares brand identity and design guidelines as required.
  • actively participates in brand briefings, both accepting and rejecting ideas depending on the company’s creative strategy and using that information to inform future decisions.
  • Promptly provides clients with well-crafted presentations that are not just informative but also interesting, visually appealing, and persuasive.
  • The organization collaborates with both internal and external partners to effectively represent the fundamental brand equity and governance. The long-term advocate for equity keeps the company’s brand consistent with customers and other stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Skilled in maintaining composure in the face of uncertainty and juggling multiple priorities.
  • Skilled at formulating design policies and procedures, as well as improving designs at every stage of their creation, development, and implementation.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well as the Apple Macintosh platform.
  • mastery of the packaging design process, including the norms, processes, and economics involved.
  • Master’s Degree in design, advertising, or communications plus 6 years of graphic design, communications, or advertising experience to include package design experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility.
