Maintaining a digital media plan is a primary responsibility for the Digital Media Specialist. In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of digital marketing, from strategy to execution, as well as oversee the creation and maintenance of marketing materials and the tracking of web traffic. Websites, apps, email, SMS, and digital experience content are all examples of digital assets.

  • Review that a website’s content is optimized for search engines, easy to find, and that all links work (quality assurance). Using and analyzing internet data, you can find out how well campaigns and other efforts are doing.
  • You may use Acquisition Manager to improve the performance of a third-party creative agency, paid digital platforms, or affiliate/incentivize traffic agencies.
  • Among other things, one must know how to read both fiction and nonfiction, as well as how to read a lot of different kinds of texts. This kind of training is usually only for people who have gone to college for four years. There are many ways to learn it, but it can also be taught.
  • Examining attitudes is done using digital assets. In order to deal with complicated difficulties, IT specialists and business leaders must work together. Collaborative activities and processes may benefit from identifying and documenting unconventional ways.
  • Customer service is provided to both internal and external customers by reacting quickly to inquiries. Ensures that the organization’s aims are communicated to all levels of the public, the media, other organizations, and government authorities.
  • It is required to create and implement A/B test ideas on a frequent basis. You may assist the digital team in preparing for the next test by identifying relevant trends and ideas.
  • A Facebook or Instagram advertising campaign may be launched and handled immediately if you know how to set it up.
  • There is, at best, a lack of direction. Employees are often expected to carry out their given tasks on their own, with management’s aid only when necessary. You have the option to see the final output if you so want.
  • Collaborate on sponsored social campaigns for the benefit of the company’s digital analytics team. Verify that campaign reports are still valid.
  • By using call and conversion monitoring, clients are able to evaluate campaign statistics and make any modifications. A Digital Marketing Manager should send out client reports on a regular or quarterly basis.


  • Experience in digital marketing, internet/intranet website design or maintenance, or social media strategy, as well as business writing in a creative context, is required.
  • Candidates must participate in social media advertising or other kinds of digital media marketing, such as digital display, during their first year on the job.
  • You must be skilled at interacting with others, keeping track of details, and using technology for this position.
