The Asset Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee the daily and long-term strategic management of the Company’s technology-related data center and public cloud assets. The Asset Manager role is the primary point of responsibility for the life-cycle management of the organization’s information technology assets. This duty include the establishment and maintenance of policies, standards, procedures, systems, and metrics that allow the organization to lead the Asset Portfolio in terms of risk, cost, control, governance, compliance, and business performance goals as defined by the company. The Asset Manager will collaborate with all departments engaged in the acquisition, implementation, management, and reporting of information technology assets, using integrated software solutions.

Qualifications:

• Assisting in the communication of initiatives and programs to the general public and county leaders. County authorities may join a number of infrastructure asset management committees and boards.
• There will be an emphasis on best practices in infrastructure asset management, including software training to maximize utilization and functionality, across the Public Works Department.
• It is important to account for all aspects of an asset’s life cycle when modeling it, from acquisition through eventual disposal. In charge of budgeting, planning, and forecasting for the whole year.
• Increase the efficiency and return on investment of underused or underutilized technology assets by making them more useful.
• Create protocols and procedures for monitoring and assessing firm hardware from purchase through retirement.
• For each asset, design and execute strategic business strategies that will control the asset’s day-to-day operations, market position, and eventual disposal.
• Identify and evaluate cash flow estimates in order to suggest capital calls and distributions to investors. Maintain adequate funding of escrow accounts and operational cash accounts to ensure that they are not overdrawn.
• Oversee the company’s current tenant relationships in order to guarantee that great service is provided. When negotiating leases for high-profile tenants, having a strong network of leasing agents, attorneys, and bankers on your side may be quite useful..
• Pay special attention to pre-payable, balloon, and maturing loans while keeping an eye out for any Business Development refinancing options.
• Data like as serial numbers and identification tags must be verified and maintained to ensure its correctness, completeness, and auditability (CMDB).

Skills:

• Knowledge in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations is required. Able to use MS Office and the internet (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• All parts of strategy formulation and implementation in a contract management or buying and procurement role.
• Be able to communicate in English at a level that allows the employee to grasp and convey information in a way that allows the employee to safely and effectively execute the tasks of their position.
• Work well with coworkers, vendors, and cross-functional groups in a group-oriented environment.
• Five (5) years of experience managing government infrastructure assets, a minimum of one year of supervisory experience (or an equal combination), or an equivalent education and work experience that provides you with the abilities necessary to do this job are needed for this position.
