The Director of Financial and Management Accounting is the line manager for this paid, exempt position.

Qualifications:

• Interact regularly with management, other departments, auditors, lenders, and 3rd parties; generate extra reports and analyses as needed.
• You should determine for yourself whether or not adjustments to the balance sheet for distributor activities, prepaids, expenditure accruals, or inventory reserves are necessary or acceptable.
• Working with inventory costing cycles in your business unit’s department will teach you about device standard costs and how they impact gross margins and inventory levels.
• Engage in activities such as the development and analysis of internal financial reporting and support the analysis and resolution of any financial problems.
• It is necessary to regularly monitor account activity on the balance sheet and compare it to mortgage and bank data. It is necessary to produce journal entries and link them to the general ledger’s accounting schedule.
• Assemble a company’s financial statements such as its balance sheet, income statement, and other reports using financial data analysis.
• An urgent need exists to address the issue of high penalties and fees. Assist new accountants in getting up to speed, double-checking the work of their colleagues, and building excellent working connections across the company.
• Ensuring that financial reporting for product lines is in accordance with IFRS requires active participation with operational management to understand underlying business challenges. In areas of responsibility for which you are responsible, assist with IFRS research.
• Join regular product line team meetings to learn about key goals, business issues, and to develop relationships with team members. Prepare and deliver relevant financial information
• Be part of the effort to help operational management teams quickly understand the factors that drive financial success by developing new reporting formats.

• Ability to operate well in a team environment; participation on several accounting and cross-functional teams is required.
• Organizational abilities, the capacity to prioritize many projects/tasks, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are all required.
• Effective time management and organization, as well as the ability to determine priorities on their own while simultaneously juggling a variety of projects and responsibilities, are all essential for someone in this position.
