The IT Program Manager oversees the program on a day-to-day basis and establishes long-term and strategic goals to guarantee that client needs are met. Performs horizontal integration planning and interfaces with various functional areas to guarantee the timely implementation of technological solutions and schedules.

Qualifications:

• Develop and convey appropriate budget, risk, timetable, and other essential aspects to stakeholders and management.
• Regularly engage with IT, partners, and suppliers to identify and fix operational concerns.
• Keep up with industry developments by attending professional events outside of the office. To stay informed about what’s going on at these locations, form ties with other project managers in the legal and other fields.
• Employ more project managers and other staff as needed to balance supply and demand across their portfolio’s ongoing and upcoming projects.
• These are all examples of delivering excellence utilizing a client project execution framework and industry best practices.
• Plan and organize tasks such as hardware and software installation and upgrades, programming and systems design, computer network development, and deployment of Internet and intranet sites.
• Create and implement efficient processes and procedures that allow the team to quickly respond to increases in contract employee demand. Ascertain that the SLA’s requirements are met.
• Technology and systems tasks that support the company’s operations and technical information systems platforms are the responsibility of this position.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed on schedule, that client tasking instructions are clear and precise, that contract workers are qualified to accomplish the tasks, and that any potential personnel difficulties are avoided.
• As a means of analyzing the quality and efficiency of teamwork, develop, execute, and analyze metrics, internal process improvement, operating procedures, and job instructions.

Skills:

• Strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modelling, leadership strategies, production methods, and people and resource coordination, as well as economic and accounting principles and practices, as well as the financial market, are all important.
• People who want to work in Project or Program Management need to have certificates from reputable schools, like the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or another Project or Program Management qualification.
• The candidate must have at least 12 years of progressive leadership experience in the public and/or private sectors in the areas of information technology and/or management consulting.
• It is important to have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check, or an IT-II security clearance (NACLC).
• Program/project management knowledge, including experience directing strategic software development programs/projects for mobile networking products or cloud-native/SaaS solutions is required, as a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
