The Data Quality Analyst will offer quality assurance supervision (data error detection and repair) on business processes where data is gathered, stored, converted, or utilized, working closely with the Management team. You will specifically be tasked with assisting the team in integrating data assets from a range of systems and sources (both external and internal) into the Company’s systems, as well as assuring and monitoring the final quality of our internal data storage and flows. Your excellent data analysis abilities will provide clean data that analytic systems and application code can operate on, ensuring that our high-quality standards for goods and services are maintained.

Qualifications:

• Find ways of automating or otherwise improving present procedures by reducing them to their most basic functions and working to develop and document them.
• Manage and report on the quality assurance and production performance of external data assets under Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the outsourced provider.
• Assists in the teaching of study team members on protocol-specific data entry needs and encourages best practices in the research process.
• Analyze data for design conformance (source-to-target) and expected/anticipated behaviors, finding quality concerns and offering remedies.
• Systems integrator that works with other departments to fix problems, educates users, and helps systems work together (e.g. databases and spreadsheets).
• Collect metadata regarding systems, processes, reports, controls, data mobility and business terms from technical and operational subject matter experts

• Examination of the contact and attribute standard reports on a regular basis. Collaborate with other analysts and teams to analyses the quality of the data. It is recommended to make use of both standard and proprietary analytical methods.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and development/improvement task forces, as well as assist other departments in the creation of quality edit checks, test plans, and so on to ensure data quality goals are reached.
• Communicate the pervasiveness of data quality issues and their possible consequences, and take the initiative to resolve these issues via data integration and/or business process improvement.

Skills:

• Knowledge of quantitative concepts and the capacity to use them in the business environment, in order to identify and create quantitative solutions to business problems (key measures, reporting, analysis, etc.).
• Experience with data warehouses and research methodologies as well as statistical and data analysis, as well as good problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience using data analysis in a commercial context is required, with a high priority being given to those with expertise in direct and/or digital marketing. A significant advantage is having previous experience working with cooperative databases, circulation planning, advertising agencies, or brokers.
• Experience with EMRs and patients in a physician office is desired. Excellent organization, detail-oriented, analytical, and critical thinking abilities required.
• Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in business or a quantitative field (such as data analytics or statistics) or equivalent work experience in order to be considered for this position.
