As part of our Construction Management Practice, we are looking for a Construction Manager. On-site building of a facility will be overseen by the chosen applicant, who will work closely with the project team.

Qualifications:

• Examining modification proposals, proposal requests, requests for information, additional instructions, and other contract material on behalf of the carrier’s interests as needed
• The carrier’s relationship with the numerous government agencies engaged in goods transportation, including the City’s authorization and inspection processes, as well as acting as a liaison between the carrier and these authorities is essential.
• Controlling project costs by ensuring that carriers maintain their contractual commitments while reviewing tenant agreements and requirements
• help of the project’s many contractors, including all site and construction trades.
• Assisting utility companies in supplying services and infrastructure for the project, as well as monitoring the project’s timing and expenses, are all responsibilities of the project manager.
• Creating initial project-specific cost estimates and assuming overall budgetary management responsibilities for the project’s numerous cost components
• Verify the safety, quality, timeliness and budget compliance, cost efficiency and control, and results by monitoring and reviewing the operations of outsourced construction contractors.
• Partners with the Control Manager to guarantee that the correct data is entered into the reporting program by authorizing consultant invoices, contractor pay applications, and modifications.
• In order to run an efficient subdivision, you need to be able to talk to the Sales Counselor about all build-to-suit contracts, spec homes, model maintenance, subdivision maintenance, signage, and all other things that need doing.
• Providing assistance as an information resource by organizing tenant work, attending meetings, resolving problems, providing continuous feedback, and coordinating the project’s punch list and close-out procedures.

Skills:

• Collaborating with the general contractor and the project consultants to ensure that the project is completed on-time and on-budget.
• Proficiency establishing and executing quality assurance/quality control procedures to verify work corresponds to contract specifications. Capable of carrying out the tasks of a Site QC Manager
• Experience in pre-design and pre-construction work, as well as familiarity with building systems, components, and technology, are all required.
• Working in this position requires familiarity with construction contracts and the ability to read, understand, and coordinate consultant drawings and requirements.
• Mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural building expertise in an industrial setting is required for this position
