UX Designers develop, visualize, and execute strategic user experiences. Passionate designer, collaborator, consumer champion, and lifelong learner. As a vital team member, the UX Designer creates engaging user/customer experiences that fulfill business objectives and reinforce the Company’s brand image. UX Designers concentrate on interaction or visual design. However, may be needed in both fields. The UX Designer will develop, coordinate, and evaluate user research activities such as user testing, interviews, and observations to generate innovative web/mobile/tablet application ideas and push them to completion.

Qualifications:

• Work with your team to spread awareness of the advantages and concepts of taking a user-centered approach. Validate new information, get feedback, and collaborate on notions as you make iterations of your ideas.
• Apply human factors and cognition to tools, systems, tasks, ergonomics, user interfaces, and surroundings. Communicate ideas through low and high-fidelity prototypes
• Promote design, usability, and accessibility standards throughout the company’s design and technical teams. Explore industry trends and new technologies on mobile, desktop, and online.
• You will be an integral member of our Design Team, where you will collaborate directly with Product Managers, Subject Experts, and Developers to translate user demands into flows and interfaces that are both practical and inspirational.
• Work with project partners to understand detailed requirements and design full user experiences that meet user needs and the project partners’ vision.
• Writing conceptual diagrams, site maps, user flows, storyboards, wireframes, user testing, personas, content inventories, and related functional specs
• Create design concepts and interact with teams to identify which ideas should progress into detailed design and production based on usability testing, standard procedures, and technical input.
• Engage with developers and analysts to implement ideas that have been vetted by you and your team members. Achieve design systems by combining existing frameworks with new techniques.
• Work with quality engineering, development, and marketing teams to understand product and branding directions.
• Work with members of the design team on all areas of user-centered design, such as information architecture, task analysis, user flows and stories, navigation, content hierarchies, interaction design, and working prototypes.

Skills:

• Ability to demonstrate successful collaboration with highly technical development teams, or experience working in a setting that is mostly technical or scientific, A demonstrated competence with Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Sketch, and other pertinent design software is required.
• The B.A.’s (focus in Library Sciences, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related area of study is a plus) A collection of case studies and examples of design work.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in and contribute to a highly technical environment; previous experience articulating complex interface design concepts in a way that is both clear and convincing.
• Experience with standard design applications (Adobe products, Sketch, Omnigraffle, Keynote/PPT for the development of IXD artifacts, documentation, and presentations -or- proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator or Sketch
• A comprehension of the fundamentals and procedures behind the provision of services to individuals and customers. This comprises determining the requirements of the client, providing services that satisfy quality standards, and gauging the level of satisfaction experienced by the consumer.
