Qualifications:

• You can tell if a design is feasible by assessing how well it ensures the safety, appeal, and functionality of the object in question.
• To get the green light from influential parties, show designs and prototypes to them.
• Collaborates with in-house and third-party manufacturing and engineering teams to develop and verify product design specifications and production needs.
• Make product design iterations and pitch your design services to different decision-makers.
• Work together with your suppliers to provide brand-compliant production and packaging solutions at an affordable price.
• Collaborate with the HP design community to create innovative designs using up-to-the-minute techniques, materials, and aesthetic preferences.
• If you want to promote and maintain a wholesome safety culture, it’s in your best interest to take the lead in all safety program initiatives.
• Consult with professionals in related fields, such as mechanical engineers and manufacturers, to see if proposed designs are feasible and would meet customer expectations.
• Think about a consistent aesthetic and language in product design that benefits users and reinforces the brand.
• Help generate ideas and prioritize which contests to participate as a group.

Skills:

• Ability to use logic or reasoning to learn about people and spot the demand for new items.
• The ability to identify and solve complex design problems, such as those involving product demand, size, shape, function, and cost; to anticipate production concerns; to produce and assess alternatives; and to implement solutions.
• Proficient at using computer-aided design (CAD) software for conceptualization and prototyping.
• Creative thinking can be seen in the company’s original product design and in the way it has adapted existing technologies.
• proven track record of achievement as a designer in the professional world, as indicated by a solid body of work that demonstrates how design has been applied to the real world.
