Palletizing goods for delivery via bulk and route trucks by hand is a necessary part of this role. Accuracy of the loading and unloading sequence is crucial when dealing with cars. Loads are stacked with the help of forklifts and electronic pallet jacks. Paperwork transport and loading is the job description for this position. The warehouse has strict loading procedures in place. Employees are responsible for keeping their workplaces tidy and free of hazards. The length of a shift can vary frequently based on the needs of the business. Returning pallets or plastic flats are removed from the van before it is loaded with full pallets of goods from the warehouse. An area of the warehouse is set aside for the unloading of raw materials. Loading a bulk truck requires selecting individual packages and flavors from the warehouse’s stock. The stability of a pallet is ensured in two ways: stacking and shrink-wrapping. Before a route truck can leave the warehouse, it must be stocked with the appropriate products. Each car receives a customized product or bundle based on the needs of the customer. Long periods of time are spent repeatedly lifting and carrying heavy cases weighing 20-45 pounds. You’ll have to get up, walk around, bend and twist your body, stoop and reach for things.

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting 50 pounds safely and correctly
• Stock is categorized by size, color, type, or product code and then placed in racks, shelves, or bins; the system also keeps track of how much of each item was received. Arrange components in a logical order for assembly.
• Certain products must be selected, counted, and packaged in a specific manner in accordance with SOPs.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a risk-free workplace for everyone on the job.
• Makes sure everything is where it should be and reports any storage issues or inventory problems (like missing items, damaged goods, or a lack of stock) to the supervisor.
• In a picking area, a power pallet jack or forklift can be used to construct an audio pallet or load (if applicable)
• The Warehouse Worker is responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting goods into and out of the Distribution Center.
• Determines what materials need to be transferred, collected, or distributed based on the production schedule, order forms (customer, work, and/or shipping), or requisitions. In response to specified needs of individual customers, we generate worksheets or tickets. Move goods within the warehouse to the appropriate location (shipping, production, or storage) in accordance with the schedule and operational regulations.
• Responsible for completing requests for materials, tools, and other stock items, such as requisitions and work orders, and distributing them to production or assembly line workers.
• Make sure your clients receive first-rate service by finishing tasks on time and paying close attention to detail.

Skills:

• Physical exertion, including but not limited to walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting items or equipment, some of which may be heavy or cumbersome, is required for extended periods at a time.
• Certification as an operator of material handling equipment is required (MHEO).
• In some cases, full-time workers who are unable to complete additional work during their scheduled shifts will be expected to put in extensive amounts of overtime.
• Candidates must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order selector/pickers.
• The ability to establish and keep positive relationships with coworkers, other departments, and the public at large is essential.
