In order to function lawfully, the Maintenance Coordinator verifies that all of our network providers have up-to-date credentials and licenses. Work with medical personnel to ensure that they are aware of their renewal dates and the measures needed to keep their credentials current.

  • Maintains a high level of resource utilization, particularly with regard to shift maintenance personnel, by alternating periods of “ready work” with periods of less urgent emergency work requirements.
  • Reviews alerts and assesses value (gatekeeping). If required, notifies notice submitters. Assesses criticality and assigns changes to signal future stages of maintenance work.
  • Evaluates incoming work orders and directs them to the appropriate workers to minimize interruption to planned work and to ensure that the most critical work is done.
  • Changes are initiated and monitored to ensure that the maintenance backlog is completed on schedule. Cancelled work orders are removed from the system’s database. Identifies work orders that need engineering support and works with the capital and engineering teams to manage the project backlog.
  • The maintenance manager attempts to ensure that goals are met by keeping track of KPIs and planning periodic evaluations of maintenance performance metrics. Participates in performance review meetings after a turnaround or stoppage.
  • Ensures operations communicate and execute equipment preparation requirements for effective maintenance.
  • Schedule workers, complete up production reports, talk to employees about safety, and create other reports as needed by the operational facility’s administrative staff, for example.
  • The weekly maintenance schedule and daily plan are designed in close cooperation with the operations and maintenance departments, and the schedules are then implemented on a weekly basis.
  • PM turnarounds and shutdowns are coordinated. Initiates and leads shutdown scope planning meetings, and takes overall turnaround management responsibilities to ensure resource-loaded schedules are produced and clear ownership of work is understood.
  • Regular maintenance/operations plans may be improved and designed by using technical knowledge of equipment documentation and safety procedures and a comprehensive timeline.


  • good understanding of maintenance scheduling and budgeting, The ability to read and understand engineering drawings, equipment drawings, and P&IDs, as well as schematic diagrams. Communication of technical knowledge in both written and spoken form is a strong suit for this person.
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is required for this post; a bachelor’s degree is desirable, or years of similar recorded experience in heavy industrial operations management leadership are also acceptable qualifications.
  • Keep up-to-date on all applicable federal, state, and local rules, including the FRA, TTB, and FSMA. Lifting and/or moving 60 pounds is required of the employee.
  • At least a year of experience in a call center is required. Extensive knowledge of the English language and the ability to multi-task under pressure. Good interpersonal and analytical skills are a must.
  • As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, Handyman Contractor, or Supervisor for a General Building Contractor, 7+ years of expertise. Average to above-average technical abilities and understanding in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, concrete, and electrical construction.
