This role manages allocated inventory via daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly physical counts, requisitioning replenishments, and investigating alternate sources and resources. Maintains customer communication, checks supply utilization, and eliminates old items. The Inventory Coordinator organizes and conducts periodic inventory counts, changes amounts and locations, and communicates inconsistencies to management. The role manages all permanent and par inventory locations, as well as supplies collected, stored, and issued. The Inventory Coordinator embodies the Service Culture Guidelines and organization’s objective.

Qualifications:

• The person in this job is in charge of organizing all inventory-related operations for the department to which they have been assigned. Restocking, Picking, Stage-ing, Deliver-ing, Putting Away, Special Orders, and Substitutions are all examples of this. Managing PAR levels, Binning, Cycle Counts, Bill Only, and Inventory Relief may be included in these operations.
• Be sure to follow the regulations and procedures of your institution, center, or division in order to maintain the warehouse secure. Make regular inspections of your inventory and make any required repairs.
• Adjust inventory costs monthly and daily as instructed by Supply Chain Management and sales policy.
• Packing and shipping components for orders from overseas customers, using the optimal package dimensions to save freight costs, and assuring delivery as near as feasible to client expectations.
• Makes decisions and acts on their own when there aren’t enough supplies, keeps management informed, and/or makes suggestions based on information analysis.
• Keep track of inventory, modifications, shipments, in-transit products, and purchase orders in numerous reports. Make adjustments if necessary, and then tag and store the components you’ve received, as per the instructions on the packing slips.
• Work with operations workers to guarantee inventory accuracy and completeness. Perform inventory cleaning by checking the Serialized Inventory report for errors and monitoring Site Transfers for missing items.
• Assists in the cost-cutting process and collaborates with the management to discover cost-effective methods and areas for improvement. In a timely and suitable way, operates, calibrates, and conducts regular maintenance on a range of technical equipment.
• Maintains responsibility for supply inventories on a day-to-day basis, including monitoring of volume, flow, and source. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for providing supervision for all initiatives and tasks that are linked to the inventory. The IC Coordinator has the ability to lead work either on behalf of the manager or in accordance with the instructions provided by management.
• Supervise, train, and supervise warehouse care employees, including assigning assignments, settling disagreements, and regulating access to equipment, supplies, and/or contraband.

Skills:

• For this position, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business/finance, logistics/supply chain management, or an equivalent blend of education and relevant experience.
• Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, capable of interacting well with all levels of staff, and able to flourish in a fast-paced atmosphere where deadlines are a priority.
• You must be proficient in SAP R/3 or an equivalent system and Microsoft Excel. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and good with logistics.
• possess excellent personal organization and business administration skills in accordance with best practice methods; possess the ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality; and
• An ability to work well with others, be analytical, and effectively communicate orally and in writing will be required of the successful applicant.
