Qualifications:

• When developing and/or improving cost management systems, appropriate costing methodologies are used to identify, verify, aggregate, and report costs of activities.
• Coordinates with others to make financial management system improvements necessitated by reporting requirements.
• Work on cost-saving processes that increase production’s financial performance by carefully reviewing the most current data, predicted future costs and customer demand. You may play an important role in the annual inventory of the facilities by creating strong links between all parties concerned. Contribute your time and efforts to the closure of the project.
• Investigates and resolves complicated discrepancies in accounting records (such as general ledger accounts);
  INSERT INTO `wp_randomize` (`randomize_id`, `category`, `text`, `visible`, `user_id`, `timestamp`) VALUES creates spreadsheets for the reconciliation process; submits and pursues modifications found throughout the process.
• Analyzes data, helps resolve data conflicts, and/or develops suggestions for management choices. Provides management with advice and support on accounting and financial management issues.
• Help the company’s management team make wise financial decisions by establishing a culture of mutual trust and respect among its many departments. Lead annual shutdown project accrual budget meetings, weekly manufacturing performance meetings, and costing impacts training for others in order to actively impart a thorough understanding of business performance data to all employees.
• The generation or upgrading of current cost accounting data utilizing proper costing techniques results in high accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
• It analyzes accounting data, records or reports to determine historical expenditures and identify erroneously recorded charges. It then reallocates the costs to ensure they are represented in a cost structure in accordance with company policy.
• In addition to management and cost accounting, these positions have numerous other duties. He or she is involved in all of the agency’s financial management processes as well.
• In order to assist management in making decisions, business data must be accurate. Update the annual standard cost roll and carefully price new products for sales in order to preserve customer satisfaction. Look for quality issues, anomalies, and ways to reduce costs in the monthly freight charges, inventory cycle counts, month-end inventories, and invoice/spending data. Create/review/assess/verify correct production credit/hours earned, production expenditures, and shutdown project accruals with the manufacturing team. Help with the audits. Reporting of census data on a monthly and quarterly basis in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Skills:

• Extensive experience in cost management approaches, activities, and cost pools based on direct and indirect cost rates.
• Expertise in accounting and project cost reclassification, preparation of supporting documentation, and the filing of alterations discovered along the process.
• An in-depth knowledge of the finance, distribution, and production systems is required for the analysis of transactional data in an ERP system and the ability to effectively convey results to management.
• Able to multitask and operate autonomously under demanding conditions. Those who are adept in managing their time and do well under pressure. The capacity to collaborate well and manage stress is one of the most crucial traits of a great teammate. Analysis of variances, month-end close, and financial reporting are required. It’s also crucial to have excellent organizing and analytical skills.
• Understanding of the production environment and the financial procedures linked with it Understanding of the supply chain, receiving, inventory movement, operational process, and manufacturing principles Determine the root causes, acquire and analyze relevant information, produce viable solutions to the problem and suggest or fix the issue.
