The Health Center’s Admissions Coordinator is in charge of overseeing the entire process from start to finish, including communicating with outside parties like doctors and insurance companies.

Qualifications:

  • Aid in editing a scholarly publication. Proofreading and editing ensure that your work is free of typos and grammatical errors. Monitors text as it goes through various stages of production and editing. Takes care of all communication with authors, printers, and anyone else involved in the production of a book or other publication.
  • Develops ties with pre-pharmacy advisers and career counselors in order to boost prospective student inquiries and applications.
  • Coordinates travel arrangements. Schedules and manages appointments and meetings. Orders and manages supplies inventory. Requires time or dictation. Performs other duties that are incidental to office operations.
  • Identifies personnel, facilities, and supplies needed to host meetings, presentations, and seminars. Prepares a necessary set of components by gathering and arranging them. Finds the information origins Information gathering, synthesis, and manipulation. Produces reports or portions of reports including executive summaries of findings.
  • Formats, proofreads, and edits communications, reports, papers, grants, and other documents. Attachments and appropriate material are assembled. Examines incoming documents for completeness, dates, and signatures. Formal correspondence and written material are compiled.
  • Contributes ideas for improving recruiting efforts and provides information for recruiting reports.
  • Answers prospective, newly accepted, and current students’ queries, and informs newly admitted students about significant forthcoming activities or events (e.g., deadlines for required documentation, information about pre-orientation and general orientation, etc.).
  • manages the activities of support staff by supervising, instructing, and planning oversees the preparation of contracts, budgets, and other financing-related items keeping track of costs and a checkbook balance
