The Database Administrator is responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of many databases (s). Disaster recovery, performance analysis and tweaking, index maintenance, and data monitoring are all responsibilities. Administers, maintains, develops, and executes policies and procedures to ensure the database’s security and integrity. The candidate will assess and suggest database management system (DBMS) solutions that are currently available. Performs database and software life-cycle operations to achieve maximum system performance and availability while adhering to business requirements. The candidate will manage SQL, Oracle, and MySQL databases as well as application servers. Candidate organizes and prepares data to make query and storage procedures more efficient.

Qualifications:

• Additionally, he or she is responsible for the execution of database designs (data models), data access and table maintenance codes (DTCs), and other distributed data concerns.
• Use physical database design, performance and tuning, backup and recovery to address database performance, capacity, replication, and other distributed data challenges.
• Supports the latest MSSQL versions in the development, creation, and deployment of large, complicated databases with replication and high availability. Creates architectures for applications, databases, and executive functions.
• Database resource standards are analyzed and defined in this document. New and existing systems may benefit from the analysis and design services provided by this department.
• Provide assistance in addressing data conversion and upgrading concerns. Liaise with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to define and clarify requirements and to expedite project activities.
• Manages large tables, keeps schemas up to date, and creates queries and tools to help users. Installs upgrades and patches to databases that are already in place, System analysis is done and solutions to technical problems are found.
• Manages database operations. Installs, maintains, develops, and executes database security, availability, and integrity policies and procedures.
• Analyzes and specifies the attributes needed by a database management system (DBMS) to suit the organization’s present and future demands. Analyzes the company’s organizational structure and designs the logical database structure for ongoing and future application development.
• Using Microsoft SQL Server, set up and carry out administrator tasks like database management, user management, and storage management. Create and take care of training manuals, system configuration specifications, and other internal system documentation.
• To ensure that the company’s database is secure, the DB administrator is in charge of managing and monitoring policies and procedures that protect the integrity and security of the company’s database.

Skills:

• Instruction in the structures and designs of files, information retrieval techniques, methods and controls for accessing files, as well as the creation and documentation of standards.
• Data dictionary and database system implementation success. All applicants must be acquainted with the technologies used by credit unions as well as have previous expertise in designing comparable apps.
• As a Database Administrator, you should have at least 10 years of experience working with similar systems and contracts. Five years of expertise in Java, C++ or C, Perl, JavaScript, UNIX, XML, and HTML.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an emphasis on customer service and solution ownership. Meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities
• It is necessary that you have between two and five years of experience designing and administering Microsoft SQL database systems for this role. Both parties are required to have an equal level of work experience and education in their respective fields.
