In order to continue our rapid growth, we need to add an investment associate to our team. The role is ideal for someone who wants to join a growing company and take their career to the next level. This role’s primary responsibility will be to assist the firm’s advisors in managing their workloads while also providing excellent service to the firm’s clients. Client relationships will be supported by this role by attending to clients’ requirements, fielding their questions, preparing advisers for review meetings, and dealing with other issues and activities as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and will be meticulous in their approach to their work.

Qualifications:

  • You should open and close client accounts, add trading and power of attorney as needed, link life insurance and annuity accounts, complete client registrations, and reply to and fulfill client support requests in a timely manner.
  • In order to meet regulatory and compliance needs, you’ll need to make client files and generate reports for record keeping.
  • Maintain current client information in the contact database and contact management system for reporting, scheduling, tracking fees, and marketing purposes.
  • Prepare and maintain client records, as well as draft and send out reports and communications, per the Advisor’s instructions.
  • Regular shredding will ensure that all outdated records are properly disposed of. Securely discard old customer records.
  • Responsible for making sure that all customer needs are met promptly and accurately; provide front desk support, including greeting clients and guests; politely answer phone calls; and, if necessary, take thorough messages.
  • Oversee maintenance of all common office equipment ensuring proper operational order for the practice; and report any issues to the facilities manager. Maintain office supplies, ensuring necessities like items for the break room, are on hand at all times.
  • As quickly as possible, read through all incoming and outgoing electronic mail, answer to any questions or concerns, and follow up on any action items.
  • Trading and accounting software for managing the purchase and sale of fixed income and equity instruments.
  • You will play a key role on deal teams, finding possibilities for investment, conducting due diligence, and writing investment memoranda for fund investments and co-investments.

Skills:

  • At least one to two years’ experience in finance or a related field (such as accounting, economics, statistics, or mathematics).
  • Ability to function independently and effectively under time constraints in a hectic atmosphere.
  • Familiarity with Redtail, Orion, Morningstar, MoneyGuidePro, and Wells Fargo Advisors is highly desirable.
  • customer service or client management skills that have been proven. This entails determining the concerns or problems that the client is having, offering solutions, and starting those solutions.
  • Though a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, candidates with relevant job experience and/or college credits earned will also be considered.
