We are looking for an experienced, highly driven, and brilliant Investment Banker to join our team. It is expected that this person would have excellent transactional and marketing abilities, as well as a large network. They will be able to create opportunities, manage a team in securing deals, then guide those deals through to completion. New business development, including lead generation, the commencement of investment banking engagements, and relationship management are the major tasks of this role on the path to managing director.

Qualifications:

• Conduct extensive valuation evaluations utilizing a variety of approaches such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparables, and transaction comparables.
• Create fundamental financial models for companies in order to monitor performance and credit patterns in support of advice and capital-raising operations. Exhibit strong attention to detail and the discipline to verify work to consistently create error-free and correctly structured material.
• Maintain a positive business culture focused on offering world-class customer service, Perform market research on both publicly traded and privately owned companies.
• Managing the syndicate process for debt mandates include recruiting investors, collecting feedback from the sale, and informing the issuer, among other obligations. Ccreate ties with investors to enable the formation of new mandates (e.g. reverse inquiry)
• Help put together high-quality presentation materials that will be used in client meetings and for internal deal approvals. These materials will cover things like strategic options, activity on the capital markets, and general corporate finance.
• Learn about the full range of capital market solutions and how they work for different clients and changing market conditions. Help start and finish investment banking deals, such as M&A advisory, debt and equity transactions.
• Working on many high-priority prospects at the same time, while being monitored by Associates and other senior bankers, is challenging. Be able to effectively communicate project status and priority with other members of the deal team.
• In order to permit transactions that are in accordance with policies, you will need to demonstrate that you are competent in accounting, capital markets, and corporate finance.
• Collaborate closely with senior bankers and client management teams on mergers & acquisition consulting services, capital creation, and other strategic advisory activities. Assist in the creation of qualitative and quantitative evaluations, as well as presentation materials.
• Work with bankers on debt deal origination by giving input on investor demand and market circumstances. Collaborate with the debt sales team to distribute offers, including the derisking of underwritten contracts.

Skills:

• Self-motivated and willing to work long hours are must-haves. Analytical and mathematical skills required. Financial markets knowledge is required.
• Organizational, detail-oriented, and multitasking. Excel, PowerPoint, Word whiz Strong client presence and communication required.
• Whether addressing consumers or executives, she is an excellent communicator. Capable of finding cross-product opportunities and generating new solutions to meet customer requests.
• A bachelor’s degree or seven years of experience working in an emerging market debt syndicate (or a comparable subject) in investment banking is ideal, although it’s not a must.
• Investment banking, credit risk, or a closely related industry with a minimum of two years’ experience is preferable. Outstanding ability to analyze and synthesize vast volumes of data in order to provide new solutions for clients
