We’re looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our team. An Inventory Specialist keeps track of the number, kind, and worth of materials, equipment, products, and supplies kept in a business.

Qualifications:

• To handle issues with material stock inventory levels, interact with shipping or inventory coordinators, department supervisors, and internal and external clients.
• This role receives, unpacks, and stores tocks tools, equipment, and parts by evaluating inventory, tracking order points, arranging and expediting orders, and receiving, organizing, and storing goods.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, professional, customer service-oriented team setting is required.
• Compiles data on material, equipment, commodities, or supplies received or delivered in order to calculate inventory balance, price, and cost.
• Conduct material stock checks over the phone, collecting and reporting any pertinent information.
• Identifies cost-cutting options such as par-level manipulation, reorder points/min/max, and holding-cost reduction.
• To name and identify tools and equipment, use an identification tag, stamp, or electric marking instrument.
• Aids in the planning and execution of physical inventory.
• Inspects and measures tools and equipment for flaws and wear, either visually or with measurement devices, and reports damage or wear to the supervisor.
• Maintains pertinent files and documentation; prepares standard reports for approval by management.

Skills:

• Manually or with the aid of a computer, prepares periodic inventories or keeps a perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
• Fillers, Rinsers, Cappers, Case Packers, Case Formers, Coolers, and Pasteurizers are examples of industrial machines that need knowledge and aptitude to understand and troubleshoot.
• Ability to communicate effectively, interpersonal skills, organizational ability, understanding of good body mechanics, safety measures and infection control, ability to follow directions, and knowledge of section specific test information and instruments may be necessary.
• A minimum of two years of clerical experience exhibiting applicable knowledge, skills, and abilities is required.
• Reading, writing, and comprehending items written in English, such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operating and maintenance instructions
