Job Description

Working with a cross-functional team of business and planning leaders, you will have the chance to define, implement and mature the inventory strategy for several business units. In addition, you’ll be responsible for the creation of business processes, tools, and analytics that support inventory planning. Think-leadership and persuading skills are required to drive change and align on coherent strategies, procedures, and execution aspects to ensure all functional areas conform to the policies in this position.

Qualifications:

  • Work with the Supply and Demand Planning team to develop operational and service-enhancing strategies, capabilities, and procedures.
  • Utilize risk evaluations, alternative plans, and mitigation approaches to aid management.
  • Make use of cross-functional KPIs to ensure a successful implementation, integration, and performance in respect to inventory targets. Measurements can be improved by making recommendations and putting them into practice.
  • Own and promote operational compliance with the inventory regulations set forth by each business group.
  • Drive product success by keeping ourselves and others accountable for metrics such as forecast accuracy, quarterly financial variance, inventory utilization, delivery performance, etc.
  • Support the creation of elaborate, long-term supply chain strategies and execution plans.
  • Create and implement quarterly and monthly reporting and business analysis.
  • Work cross-functionally to standardize inventory operations while recognizing the difficulties and variations among business groups. Collaborate with demand managers, supply managers, and other partners.
  • Own the Infrastructure team’s needs for the creation, use, and ongoing development of technologies for demand/supply/inventory planning and supporting various supply chains.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related challenges and opportunities to the next level of management.

Skills:

  • Data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting methodologies are well-versed.
  • The ability to use warehouse management software and databases.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent amount of work experience, with at least three years in a role related to inventory in a retail setting.
  • Knowledge of the most effective methods for warehouse management.
  • Knowledge of and comfort with creating business cases, communications within the organization, and presentations.
