The Translator is responsible for ensuring that all documents are properly translated or adapted. Conveniently aids in the translation of corporate rules and processes, as well as website content and marketing materials. An excellent sense of teamwork and meticulous attention to detail are prerequisites for this role.

Qualifications:

• Provides interpreter services at parent meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events. These events include discussions about student academics, student discipline, student medical emergencies, and other sensitive issues that need to be kept private.
• Use reference resources to your advantage. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office, as well as basic internet skills, are required to produce written translations and commodities.
• Text may typically capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural characteristics. Word choice and expression typically conform to target language (TL) norms and ways of expression particular to subject area (s) and are strong enough to enable translator to function progressively in that field.
• Accomplishes secretarial duties such as answering phone calls and greeting visitors, opening and sorting mail, setting up purchase order requests, and verifying the receipt of payments.
• A wide range of education-related papers are included such as paperwork for students and parents, as well as those pertaining to medical or legal issues or concerns of a confidential nature.
• Databases are used to maintain track of the temporary employee pool’s assessment results, hours spent, training status, and other important data.
• It’s important to be able to accurately translate written materials such as flyer and social media posts into any language.
• This individual is responsible for reviewing papers that have been translated by others in the district. The teaching given by this instrument is beneficial to both schools and translation consultants alike.
• In order to avoid any misunderstandings or misinterpretations of the original content, ensure that the translations are correct and full.
• For the translator to be certain that medical and technological jargon is understood and correctly translated, he or she studies and evaluates it in both the source and target languages before proceeding.

Skills:

• Translation, Foreign Language, or equivalence necessary, as well as a proven ability to communicate effectively in both the written and spoken word.
• Making a demonstration in a designated language that is superior to conversational skill in order to allow constituencies with limited English language capacity to engage fully in the identified process.
• Using and promoting communication skills while interacting with coworkers, pupils, and others to convey information
• Fluency in two languages at the native speaker level and knowledge of the cultural environment in which the languages are spoken are required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be ready and able to translate in schools and communities using one’s own vehicle
