Job Description

We are seeking for a motivated Social Media Intern to support our expanding and active Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-driven, and have excellent organizing abilities. The opportunity to learn about marketing and social media will come through this internship.

Qualifications:

  • proficient in relevant social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and other new ones.
  • Building and maintaining connections with regional and national media outlets will require cooperation from the marketing coordinator.
  • News releases, media alerts, fact sheets, appeal letters, and other PR materials will be drafted as needed.
  • Weekly and monthly social media posts will let you contribute to the content calendar.
  • Contribute to the Division’s advertising campaigns by assisting the Marketing Coordinator with copywriting.
  • Involvement in media relations tasks such as research, interview scheduling, and pitching, as required.
  • Help the videographer out as much as possible so that you may get some great footage.
  • Help maintain and strengthen relationships with media contacts in order to monitor and guarantee client placement.
  • Required education and experience levels include a high school diploma, a general education diploma (GED), or an equivalent mix of both.
  • Collect data, formulate a plan, draft the plan, and disseminate the authorized newsletters and press releases.

Skills:

  • Recognize the fundamentals of marketing and be able to apply them to different channels of communication.
  • Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are all programs that you are well-versed in and have experience with.
  • High school diplomas, General Equivalency Diplomas (GEDs), or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
  • experts at using social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram effectively.
  • Person who has many interests and talents and who finds telling stories through written text, still images, and moving images enjoyable.
