We’re looking for a tax accountant that can prepare both federal and state tax returns. As an individual contributor, this position prepares federal and state income tax returns.

Qualifications:

• Accounting and tax software must be computerized.
• A minimum of 18 years old is required.
• Be able to generate high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• A high school diploma is required for this position.
• It is necessary to have prior experience drafting workpapers and forms for a company’s tax return.
• Must be well-organized and capable of managing several things at once.
• Capacity to educate and train the next generation of workers.
• In an office environment, you must be able to move swiftly from one location to the next.
• Deliverables and deadlines for clients are maintained and tracked.
• Working for 2–5 years in a tax or accounting capacity is required.

Skills:

• When dealing with sensitive information, act with integrity and protect secrecy.
• It is necessary to have verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal communication skills.
• The ability to solve problems and analyze data is required.
• The applicant should be competent and self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel abilities are required.
