We are searching for a highly skilled Technical Writer. As a Technical Writer, you’ll be responsible for creating, editing, and organizing complex technical content in order to deliver it to a variety of target audiences, both internal and external. Technical and procedural documentation will be the primary focus of your work in this role. There are several duties that fall within the purview of a technical writer. These include the drafting of conceptual summaries as well as processes; updating knowledge center articles and FAQs; and authoring technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Develop and maintain documentation for product features, such as user manuals, operations guides, flow diagrams, video scripts, strategy and policy papers, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Attends meetings of the Technical Publications department’s change control board, document approval board, and information collecting board in his capacity as a delegate.
• To manage current operations and long-term predictions, senior management develops organizational structure, resources, and procedures.
• It informs all essential project stakeholders, including the project teams, the management team and technical authors, and the team’s technical coordinator.
• Technical product documentation for both internal and external audiences should be architected, written, published, and maintained. This documentation should include user manuals, references, integrated UI content, and release notes.
• It is the responsibility of this position to ensure that the department has the necessary number of personnel, to identify high- and low-performing workers, to devise suitable strategies for employee advancement, and to actively engage and inspire staff members.
• Responsible for maintaining sufficient staffing, identifying top performers and underperforming personnel, and developing suitable plans for growth; actively engaging and motivating individuals to achieve their full potential.
• Product manuals and other forms of customer contact are developed with the assistance of technical documentation, industry standards, input from across functional lines, and hands-on experience with the relevant hardware and software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee that each monthly release’s documentation and other deliverables are delivered on schedule. Comprehend the complexity of our product/technology in order to describe properly how it works and why it is important.
• Examine, format, and put the finishing touches on any publications or technical communications, making sure that the message, layout, and presentation of the brand are all consistent throughout.

Skills:

• Self-confidence in one’s ability to make the right writing decisions without supervision being able to operate both individually and collaboratively At all levels of an organization’s hierarchy, effective communication skills are essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field is preferred. Previous experience writing structured documentation in Adobe Framemaker (SGML, XML, ATA task numbering, usually DTDs/schemas, elements, and attributes) is also a plus.
• Knowledge of how to collect and evaluate feedback and the effectiveness of documentation initiatives (i.e. usage analytics, real-time critical feedback, gathering business feedback, et al)
• Expertise in a variety of areas including but not limited to the following: instructional design; copyediting or proofreading; quality assurance; and user experience design.
• Experience creating and managing technical documentation information structures, including Knowledge Management or CMS Reviewing code, scripts, diagrams, and documentation
