Job Description

We are looking for a physical therapist that is dedicated to their work, compassionate, sensitive, and sensitive to the needs of both patients and coworkers. Qualifications:

  • The patient is taught, stimulated, and helped with non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, daily-living tasks, and the use of assistive and supportive devices including crutches, canes, and prostheses.
  • Put a Care Strategy into action, make patients accountable for following it, and adjust the timeline and plan as needed according to the patient’s development.
  • Aware of the various reimbursement structures, and able to effectively allocate therapeutic resources in accordance with resident goals and outcomes related to discharge location.
  • Restore, maintain, and enhance not only optimal physical function but also health, mobility, and quality of life.
  • By working together with the patient’s physician and other healthcare providers, the therapist is able to learn more about the individual, modify the treatment plan as needed, and better incorporate physical therapy into the patient’s overall care.
  • You can avoid the formation, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that can arise as a result of illnesses, disorders, conditions, or injuries by preventing impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
  • Comply with state laws and the professional practice standards of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) when conducting initial and ongoing physical therapy exams.
  • As necessary, connect with the client’s family and/or other caregivers and offer advice to help the patient reach mutually agreed-upon objectives and a discharge plan.
  • Performs and keeps track of examinations and tests to determine the patient’s level of strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional ability, and the efficiency of their respiratory and circulatory systems so that appropriate treatment plans can be developed or adjusted.
  • To help patients cut back on their drug use and prevent surgery, patients should be given information and training.

Skills:

  • Experience working in a nursing home, hospital, or inpatient/outpatient setting for at least a year is preferred.
  • The applicant needs to be a natural leader with an insatiable appetite for self-improvement.
  • It’s crucial to have attributes like empathy and compassion, as well as the ability to encourage patients to push their limits in a responsible, safe, and fruitful way.
  • You need to have graduated from a physical therapy school that has been recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Ideally, you’ll have education and/or work experience in a rehabilitative, Orthopedic, or medical/surgical setting that proves you have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the job.
