Accounting for Sponsored Programs is a challenging task for the Financial Accountant, who must work under strict supervision. A grant or otherwise limited money are used to finance this post. Grant or limited funding must be renewed in order for an employee to keep their job.

Job Title : Intermediate-level Financial Accountant
Location : Dibba Al-Fujairah, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates

Qualifications:

• Assists in resolving accounting or financial problems. Provides technical assistance for accounting procedures. Ensures compliance with all standards, laws, and ordinances.
• Performs transactions to several accounts. Prepares quarterly analyses of fund balances and expenditures, as well as reports on payroll, estimates, cost data, and budget items.
• Provide financial guidance to all assigned programs as required, taking into account program type and program location.
• Recording, checking, and analyzing financial data, documentation, or reports are all examples of accounting labor.
• Participate in annual budgeting with program and senior management and make appropriate changes to the budget.
• Collaborate closely with the senior financial reporting accountant and outside consultants to ensure that the proper accounting procedures are used.
• Prepares data for use in financial planning and decision-making. Ensures the correctness and completeness of financial records by performing audits
• Produces technical reports on payroll, estimates, cost data, and budgetary items, and conducts periodic analyses of fund balances and expenditures. Assistance with financial or accounting matters.
• Establishes standards for the organization of financial records.
• Assist with the financial problems for the whole organization and the allocated programs’ quality control monitoring.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an authorized university (equivalency: will accept an associate’s degree with two years of experience in the field of accounting or a high school diploma or GED with four years of expertise in the field)
• To express and share ideas, it is necessary to be able to read, write, and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Understanding of office technologies and administrative and clerical processes, including word processing, spreadsheet use, maintaining files and records, and other tasks.
• Able to evaluate the benefits and disadvantages of possible conclusions, solutions, or approaches to problems while using logic and reasoning.
• The ability to multitask, cooperate, and work independently in an organized and efficient manner.
