Industrial Hygienists carry out advanced industrial hygiene tasks that need professional guidance and the application of industrial hygiene principles in order to oversee program-level operations and resolve/address regular safety and health concerns.

Qualifications:

• Raise awareness of safety, sanitation and environmental standards among your personnel.
• Evaluate physical conditions, operating procedures, and other variables to ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and customers. Responds to findings in reports by proposing and coordinating actions.
• Assess toxicological and safety data for chemicals used in Tesla’s laboratories and provide recommendations on how to control and analyze exposures to those chemicals.
• Management of complete exposure assessments, industrial hygiene surveys/analyses, and the creation of industrial hygiene reports are all responsibilities.
• Analyze industrial and administrative work environments to identify possible dangers and develop ways for mitigating them.
• Ventilation assessments must be planned and carried out, including equipment selection and calibration, performance measurement, data analysis, and comparison to appropriate standards.

• Assistance in public health situations such as workplace inspections to check the application of prescribed risk reduction measures and to provide current data regarding working conditions, procedures provided, and key hazards or trends to customers.
• Project managers and senior management authorities should be supplied with relevant experience and up-to-date knowledge on federal, state, and local industrial hygiene regulations.
• Identify relevant analytic techniques, choose appropriate equipment, calibrate the equipment, establish a laboratory interface, and undertake sample programs, which should include data processing and interpretation.

Skills:

• Applicants must have two years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree in one of the technical areas mentioned below in addition to their qualifications. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene or a closely related physical or biological science such as engineering, chemistry, biology, environmental or occupational health to be considered for this position.
• know how to perform respirator medical clearance, audiometry, and substance-specific testing.
• Assuring compliance with the BMBL, OSHA standards, and related laws and regulations
• Outstanding verbal and writing communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving great client presentations and creating written reports.
• The competence to articulate extensive technical understanding of occupational safety and health standards and standard concepts, techniques, principles, and processes. The ability to recognize practical understanding of contemporary workplace safety and health procedures and practices.
