Job Description

We’re seeking for a Human Resources Specialist right now. This job is largely responsible for carrying out the overall labor strategy, addressing labor and employee relations issues, and cultivating cooperative ties with labor union leaders. Contract administration, contract interpretation, grievance processing, arbitration preparation, Letters of Agreement, negotiation preparation, and negotiation coordination are all tasks that the HR Specialist will handle for the facility.

Qualifications:

  • A company’s financial and human resources data is meticulously documented by keeping meticulous records of everything from employee hiring and firing to employee benefits like health insurance and pension schemes.
  • When communicating with internal and external partners, clients/customers, the ability to exude confidence, knowledge, and empathy is essential.
  • The candidate experience is the utmost importance here. The most efficient and effective manner possible, as well as meeting or exceeding recruitment targets month after month. Ensuring a positive candidate experience!
  • Regular and special reports are generated using vital trend analysis and issue identification with a small margin of error and high priority.
  • Following the company’s human resources policy is made clear to workers via a series of training sessions (e.g. Time Off with Pay, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.).
  • Performance evaluations, compensation transactions, and disciplinary actions in the HR information system are all completed on schedule and according to authorized authorization.
  • Processes leave of absences in the Company’s timekeeping system, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Performs new employee onboarding, which involves data entry into the HR Information System and orientation. Ensures that data is entered correctly and that staff are well-versed in the company’s policies and procedures, including the information in the employee handbook.
  • Answers employee personnel questions and makes necessary modifications, additions, and deletions to the HR Information System. For follow-up, reports unexpected or unresolved issues to the HR Manager.
  • The HR Generalist will take care of employee-related issues and concerns, as well to stay in close contact with facility management and Corporate HR. The main goal is to ensure that the company has a good relationship between its employees.

Skills:

  • Communication skills are important.
  • HR principles, policies, procedures, and basic employment standards must all be thoroughly understood.
  • Customer-focused problem-solver who takes the time to listen to customers’ concerns.
  • Degree in HR, labor relations, employment law, or a similar field from a college or university
  • The ideal applicant will have a strong sense of leadership and a strong willingness to learn and improve.
