For our community, we have an urgent need for a seasoned Healthcare Administrator. A candidate with at least three years of experience would be preferred. They’ll also have a track record of high survey scores, long tenure, and a desire to deliver outstanding care and customer service to the residents. The Healthcare Administrator is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the Healthcare Center in compliance with relevant business, federal, state, and local regulations to guarantee that residents get the best possible care and service.

Qualifications:

  • If a patient complaint must be escalated, assess the situation, evaluate potential hazards, develop a solution that is both safe and effective, and address clinical care difficulties, among other factors.
  • Respect the rights of patients/residents to express complaints and self-determination.
  • Cooperates with other community department heads to provide the best possible care for residents at all times.
  • Constantly engages with doctors/providers with the purpose of providing direction and oversight for successful scheduling, efficient clinic work flow, and patient flow while also building and maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship.
  • For the sake of patient and provider satisfaction, daily rounding is visible and apparent. Immediately available to address any issues that may arise in the course of normal business operations. Create a personnel strategy that satisfies both the needs of your customers and your company’s budget. Encourage good change via active participation and feedback from your employees.
  • Reports are directed in the implementation of work plans and long and short-term goals. Supporting processes and systems, as well as site-level infrastructure, have been modified. The site’s objectives have been executed and finished.
  • Management includes but is not limited to: hiring, training and assigning tasks, managing and evaluating performance, conducting professional development programs. Ensures that the overarching operational objectives of the department are met or supported by the productivity and activities of that group.
  • This role is in charge of planning, developing, organizing, evaluating, and implementing programs and activities for the inhabitants. This individual is in charge of the Healthcare Center’s staff and volunteers.
  • Involved in all aspects of personnel management from recruiting and firing to performance evaluations to rewards and punishments to dealing with complaints and resolving disputes. Facilitates all these activities.
  • Budgets are created and adhered to for departmental employment, revenue, and/or costs. Responds to changes in the company that may affect the budget’s ability to be fulfilled.

Skills:

  • Experience in healthcare administration and/or resident services administration for at least two years is essential.
  • Personnel, residents/patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public must all be treated with sensitivity.
  • A bachelor’s degree in health care, business administration, or a closely related field is required.
  • Must be a leader with the skills and desire to work well with and oversee others.
  • All relevant state and federal regulations (including those connected with Medicare reimbursement), nursing practices and procedures, and all laws, rules, and standards relating to long-term care management must be well understood.
