An Equipment Operator is needed by the company. During the pre-development stage of the project, the Equipment Operator will be mainly responsible for the safe operation of different mining equipment. After that, this role might move into the rotating shift mine operations group as an equipment operator. This is a posture that requires extreme caution.

Qualifications:

• Assume responsibility for all equipment operator tasks. Keep a complete log of all machine operations, maintenance, and gas usage.
• Operate mowing machines, front-end loaders, and air hammers without risking injury to yourself or others. Manual work such as mowing, mending, and shoveling of asphalt and snow are all examples of this.
• A variety of basic to more advanced equipment, such as rubber-tired backhoes, tracked excavators and loaders, maintenance crews, bobcats, cranes, compactors, and front-end loaders, is used to clean and maintain debris from streams and the sanitary sewer system.
• To ensure the safety of the company’s heavy equipment, operators must follow all safety regulations and procedures. Regularly inspects and maintains equipment, including doing preventive maintenance.
• The maintenance facility must be kept clean, orderly, and safe on a daily basis. Every time you use it, carefully clean it. Make a thorough inspection of all equipment and alert the Equipment Technician if any issues are discovered.
• Utilizing material movement equipment, relocates and places raw materials and completed components. Follow standard operating procedures as a guideline for vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Mechanists on the job do routine maintenance and repairs to keep construction equipment working for years to come.

• Loads, transports, and unloads sand, flexbase, asphalt, gravel, and other construction materials from City stockpiles or suppliers to City sites in order to fulfill construction or maintenance projects.
• Worksite transportation may include earth moving or other large-sized automotive equipment, which requires driving a truck and trailer.

Skills:

• Outstanding communicator who is open and upfront with all stakeholders. Maintaining and running power tools and machinery
• Requires six months of experience as an Equipment Operator I or one year in a similar capacity. Education in turfgrass management or a related field may substitute for work experience.
