Qualifications:

• Keep the lines of communication open with the news producers, assignment editors, and managers about the development of breaking news stories, the progress of work in the field, and the creation of new stories.
• Create segments and bundles. Live and studio interviews, including lengthy format Prepares and uploads material to digital platforms
• Works with producers and writers to put together show content based on the station’s editorial philosophy, the show’s unique identity, and viewer interest.
• Ideas for significant series pieces and lead stories for daily news shows may be shared with the news team. Write screenplays for news stories based on the research you’ve done. Choosing the video and coordinating its editing and graphic design production are both important steps in the on-air content creation process.
• For the aim of connecting with potential story leads, cultivate relationships with members of the community and community leaders. Develop and build relationships in the community for news articles.
• Work with reporters, editors and photographers to come up with story ideas, write them, and then shoot them for the station’s newscast. To meet your needs, you may construct extra video and graphic presentations.
• For a specific newscast, perform on-air duties. If asked or needed, do fill-in anchor duties on all news shows.
• Create short and feature-length audio articles for digital and audio platforms as a local audio reporter.
• Chooses themes and undertakes research on them. Contacts and interviews sources. Keeps notes and audio recordings. Writes and edits tales.
• Develop story ideas, do research and interviews, gather field material, write and voice the narrative, and present it live as scheduled.
