We need a full-time bookkeeper. Our new role is exciting. The Full Charge Bookkeeper handles full-cycle accounting. Full Charge Bookkeeper handles financial computations and general ledger tasks. Full Charge Bookkeepers may examine other workers’ figures and handle payroll.

Qualifications:

  • Establish exceptional reporting and billing systems to regularly provide timely information; prepare us for federal accounting requirements so we may extend our federal government employment.

  • Our HRIS/Payroll system is used to process biweekly company payroll for the firm. Paylocity knowledge is a bonus, but not required. Prepare and reconcile the payroll journal entries before they are entered into QuickBooks.
  • Calculates, analyzes and presents statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing data on a variety of topics such as revenue, expenses, accounts payable/receivables, and profits/losses
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for external parties, independent auditors, and internal colleagues. Monthly accounting tasks include bank reconciliations, deposit summaries, and cash position updates.
  • Prepare monthly workpaper bundles as well as reconciliations, Create reporting templates and do analysis using software like Microsoft Excel and Yardi Voyager.
  • Accountable for the whole accounting cycle Code and input vendor expenditure invoices, Accounts payable expertise is a prerequisite, Accounts receivable processing and billing clients and consumers
  • Take care of all accounting responsibilities for a number of churches and schools on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. This involves handling bank and credit card reconciliations, transaction records, and more.
  • assist in the creation of the payroll allocations Involve yourself in the compilation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports. Work on yearly financial statement and other government agency audit preparations with you.
  • Support the on-site Property Managers and other site workers in all areas of financial and transactional reporting. Support system improvement projects, including the simplification and automation of procedures as well as the establishment of cost efficiencies.

Skills:

  • 5 or more years of experience in accounting, Proficient understanding of QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook are among the Microsoft Office programs that you should be proficient in. the perspective of a small company, Adaptability, a willingness to work with others, and a focus on providing service
  • Clear communicator with the capacity to communicate with colleagues, executives, and external parties. Customer-centric with a friendly approach, good attitude, and collaborative spirit.
  • at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance More than two years of experience in customer service, with a strong focus on client satisfaction 3 or more years of accounting experience,
  • Teamwork-capable Ability to fulfill deadlines and prioritize, Strong self-starting and initiative skills
  • Bookkeeping and GAAP, GAAP/accounting theory knowledge Yardi Voyager or another property management app.
