Qualifications:

• When necessary, takes over as the lead instructor and makes sure that all data collection and progress notes are performed within the division’s allocated time frames, that they accurately represent functional and programmed requirements, and that they are finished on time.
• to see to it that the classrooms are kept clean on a daily and weekly basis. This includes sweeping the floors after meals and activities, wiping the counters and tables, cleaning the changing tables, putting the trash in the proper containers, and washing, sterilizing, and putting away the equipment (toys, laundry and dishes).
• Help the grade-level teams and homeroom teachers as needed with any extra chores that are needed to maintain a productive classroom environment. This may involve, but is not limited to, duties like copying, sharpening pencils, switching out bulletin boards, filing student papers, organizing and cleaning the classroom, grading, helping with specific kids, and providing classroom assistance.
• Develop weekly lesson plans using age-appropriate techniques and enrichment activities for certain age levels, function as the after-care, camp, or summer classroom’s main instructor, and make sure all paperwork is in order (attendance sheets).
• For example, in the absence of a classroom teacher, a substitute teacher assumes full responsibility for the classroom and delivers a weekly lesson plan.
• This person’s responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and schedules for the classroom, as well as performing administrative tasks such collecting and folding materials, typing, laminating, and taking phone calls.
