Qualifications:

• Analysis of uncertainty in respect to known parameters, input data, and observed states.
• Deploying interactive geospatial applications (via serverless APIs) to production and testing environments for Geospatial Decision Support Systems.
• Keeps an eye on lab and/or other supply levels to guarantee adequate resources for research endeavors. Validates the purity of materials used in experiments.
• Data processing and collection automation for near real-time use cases.
• assuming a primary role in writing articles for publishing in scholarly publications.
• Conducts research activities, under general direction, according to research.
• abides by all statutes, regulations, and codes set out by the government and the University.
• When necessary, works in concert with the research team to produce effective, timely, and high-caliber results. Responds to inquiries or solves issues relating to normal or more difficult tasks.
• Maintains timely and correct documents, such as notebooks, databases, records, etc., as required by the study project.
• Can take part in seminars, workshops, and other forms of continuing education.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities, as well as the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, changing workplace.
• Superior ability to convey ideas in writing and orally so that findings can be disseminated to a wide audience, both inside and outside of one’s own scientific field.
• In the assigned area of responsibility, you are expected to use your own discretion. It may be necessary for you to take the reins on certain aspects of the project.
• Data visualization experience of two years and a bachelor’s degree, or a comparable mix of education, training, and related experience.
• skill in accurately collecting and analyzing vast amounts of data, as well as in creating and maintaining data-driven documents including spreadsheets, graphs, and presentations.
