Qualifications:

• Shooting, writing, editing, and producing individual parts and packages. Carry out live shoots as well as studio interviews, as well as lengthy format interviews. Organizes and distributes programming throughout the station’s many digital channels.
• Serve as a local audio reporter who will be responsible for generating short as well as feature-length audio articles for digital and audio platforms.
• Maintain open contact with news producers, assignment editors, and managers on fresh story creation, field work, and breaking news stories.
• Conducts in-depth research and narrows the field of study to a few key topics. Contacts and interviews relevant persons and organizations. Everything is recorded in a diary and audio files. Author and editor of stories for a living.
• Collaborate with news producers, managers, and photographers to design, draft, and create news packages for the station. As needed, create further video and graphic presentations.
• Perform the responsibilities of an on-air reporter for the designated broadcast. Fill in for any and all news programs that are requested or necessitated as a substitute anchor.
• Generate story ideas, do research and set up interviews, create material in the field, write and voice the narrative, and deliver the story live on a specified broadcast as planned.
• Contributors may suggest series pieces and lead items for daily newscasts. Research news scripts. Choose video, edit, and create graphics for on-air material.
• Presents program material in accordance with the station’s editorial philosophy, its distinctive personality, and the interests of the audience in collaboration with producers and writers
• To find narrative ideas, get to know the people in your neighborhood and the people who run it. Develop and build relationships in the local community for stories.

Skills:

• The capacity to interact with other analysts, as well as the ability to work with people from various departments and organizations, is essential. Possesses the ability to translate complicated issues into simple concepts and media-friendly sound bites.
• Ability to take in a lot of information and use it to make a story that is both interesting and true. Ability to work with people and groups from different roles and organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or an area closely connected to these, or training and/or experience that is comparable to these requirements, At least two years of experience working as a reporter, anchor, or host, or in the field of journalism.
• Ability to write, edit, and make things under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality or credibility, Ability to take in a lot of information and data and use it to make a compelling story that is backed up by facts.
• Reporting, narrative, media production, and communication skills required. Research and find news angles.
