Job Description

You will be in charge of ensuring minimum downtime for the important internal and public server infrastructure. You will manage, update, and fine-tune these crucial company resources, including load-balanced external servers and internally hosted servers utilized by workers for email, file storage, development, and VPN.

Qualifications:

• A focus on business results and a love for technology that meets company objectives effectively and efficiently. Capacity to produce excellent software/services in a dynamic setting
• Proactively maintain and update AWS-hosted infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of security and uptime as demand requires.
• Build a strong relationship with the development teams to learn about the code, how it works, and what it depends on. Build and take care of systems that will watch everything about the application and the infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of governance models, expertise working in an agile development environment, and previous experience designing cloud-based infrastructure solutions in AWS are all required for this position.
• Help support everyday operations via automation and building a DevOps culture alongside our developers for a better software development and deployment experience.
• Work with the development team to help set up and manage technologies that automate the software development life cycle (SDLC), handle configuration management, and handle release management.
• Automate infrastructure construction in private and public cloud settings; provide technology analyses to enable automation and cloud migration.
• Automate operational operations, develop and drive innovation, manage and monitor production and non-production systems, and make certain that platforms operate effectively and safely.
• Plan and assist with deployment strategy and capacity planning for all of the settings in which a project is being developed.
• The person who fills this function is in charge of the design, building, configuration, and delivery of cloud infrastructure environments. They are expected to employ automation best practices and take a proactive approach in fulfilling these responsibilities.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of agile development and Docker deployment choices.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required, as is two years of professional experience. No familiarity with Jenkins or GitLab is required.
• Able to multitask, perform effectively under pressure, and prioritize tasks against conflicting deadlines and shifting corporate goals. Tools for management ELK, Datadog, Sumologic, Splunk
• Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, application performance monitoring, and alerting systems, Strong skills for solving problems and figuring things out
• Understanding of high availability and security techniques for application servers, database servers, and 3rd party appliances.
