Qualifications:

• Perform oral evacuation, fabricate temporary crowns and custom trays, take impressions, mix cements, and assist in the application of light-cured material as an assistant to dentists using four-handed dental assisting techniques in operative, endodontic, oral surgery, orthodontic, pedodontic, prosthetic, and periodontal procedures.
• Completes all components of a compliance program, such as training and reporting any suspected breaches to the appropriate authorities, in a proactive manner.
• This person is responsible for maintaining the patient’s record by getting their dental records, interviewing them about their medical history, and documenting it for future reference.
• Examine and maintain the car’s exterior and interior appearance, as well as do basic maintenance duties such as oil changes, fueling, and repairing brake lights, among others.
• It is vital to maintain track of dental supplies by performing frequent stock audits, projecting future supply demands, and expediting orders.
• Manage resources by preparing supplies with little waste or duplicating needs. Ensure that all dental equipment is in good working order by performing preventative maintenance requirements and following manufacturer’s recommendations.
• By demonstrating appropriate oral hygiene and asking patients about their home care routines, he helps them maintain good dental and general health.
• When it comes to patient care, dental assistants are responsible for a wide range of activities, including bringing equipment and supplies to the dentist, taking x-rays of patients’ teeth, and making plaster models of their teeth.
