There are a number of duties that the Accounting Intern is expected to complete and train for. As the needs of the company and the customer dictate, the duties of each account may vary.

Job Title : First Shift Accounting Intern
Location : Fujairah, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates
Salary : $ 27.89 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Compile a detailed list of all transactions to be reconciled. Assist in the end-of-period closing process by assisting with variation and fluctuation explanations.
• Maintain absolute discretion in all communication, telephone messages, and personal chats.
• Establishing connections with members of our leadership team and other non-accounting staff, and gaining access to management.
• Contributing fresh ideas and insights to our culture of constant change.
• As needed, assists accountants with standard month-end and year-end processes. Account reconciliations, diary entries, control testing, research initiatives, and filing of different tax forms and census reports are examples of such tasks.
• Aid in the creation of a collection of management reports for recurring financial evaluation. assist managers with various projects and other assignments as directed, aid with requests for audits
• Prepare support schedules, verifying for correctness and obtaining missing information.
• Reporting, filing, and other responsibilities that may be assigned to you as part of your job.
• Getting hands-on experience with the various functions that make up a corporate accounting department.
• Ensure that any outstanding concerns are forwarded to the appropriate management levels, and follow up as needed.

Skills:

• Requires the kind of arithmetic abilities you’d learn in a standard business or accounting class at the college level.
• The ability to perform well under pressure, prioritize work, fulfill deadlines, and keep flexibility are all essential skills.
• A self-starter must have optimism and a strong passion for success.
• With little supervision, complete assignments on time, and have the flexibility to work erratic hours as needed to meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree holder presently in school at an approved college or university.
