The Financial Specialist will engage with the business, controllership, IT, and relevant compliance teams to build applications, procedures, or reporting solutions to satisfy increasing needs. Qualifications:

  • Maintaining track of the status and growth of projects, as well as doing quality assurance checks on the work you’re doing and the completed result, ensures that everything is as it should be, according to your job description.
  • Help with transactional accounting forms and reports such journal entries, expenditure reclassifications, and cash receipts.
  • In line with approved budgets, the incumbent creates, executes, and gives advice on agency-wide policies and procedures controlling the acquisition, allocation, distribution, obligation, and spending of funds.
  • Process and confirm manual changes provided to the HealthCare Processing System’s group ledger for PCMI, Western Growers Assurance Trust (WGAT), and individual accounts (COBRA).
  • Everyone in the firm should be aware of the project’s progress, deadline and difficulties so they can support and assist with system/solution integration efforts and changes to the way things function.
  • To achieve buy-in and support for system/solution integration and process reengineering initiatives, you must communicate and interact with a wide range of management and users.
  • In order to ensure correct vendor payment, the payroll deduction database is checked on a regular basis, and billing administrator-reported inactive payment reports are used. Payroll deductions, benefit programs, and bills are summed up regularly, with controls in place to guarantee that the information is accurate. Payments to vendors are handled in the proper manner. Ad hoc analysis is carried out as and when necessary..
  • A recognized authority in the analysis and direction of financial programs and problems, including the planning, scheduling, and implementation of large projects including analysis, assessment and development of the Financial Improvement Audit Readiness Program (FIAR).
  • Enable forward-looking financial and compliance activities to be effectively supported with the necessary resources.
  • Assistance with monthly administrative chores, such as monthly fee computations and spreadsheets that provide rolling monthly data over the last 12 months, is provided to the Associate Analyst.

Skills:

  • In this job, you need to be able to use end-user office software like calendaring, word processing, spreadsheets, and email, as well as a proprietary Health Care system.
  • Experience managing large-scale initiatives with teams from throughout the world is a plus.
  • Execution of tasks using automated data processing principles, technologies, and economic usages.
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field from an accredited college may be used to satisfy the work experience requirement.
  • a working knowledge of budgeting and financial management methods and strategies.
